FAA Level 3 Award in Health and Safety in the Workplace (RQF)

This Level 3 Health and Safety course has been developed to provide learners with the knowledge and skills essential for effectively managing health and safety within various workplace settings. Participants will gain a thorough understanding of key health and safety principles, legal responsibilities and best practices for risk management.

  • Health, safety and welfare provisions

  • Communicating health and safety 

  • Managing health and safety

  • Workplace hazards

  • Risk assessments

  • Reporting and investigating accidents

  • Mental health in the workplace

  • Manual handling

  • Fire safety

  • Hazardous substances

  • Electrical safety

  • Safe use of work equipment

  • Assessment is on-going by the instructor, culminating with a multiple choice question paper. This qualification does not expire, but refresher training and keeping up to date with changes to policies and procedures is vital to keep the qualification current.

  • A maximum of 16 students can be accommodated on this course and all candidates must be a minimum of 16 years of age to qualify.

  • If you have several employees that you wish to train in this qualification, why not consider an on-site course. I can deliver this course on your site, subject to a pre-course assessment of your premises, reducing your costs in respect of additional time out and travelling.
