
Working at Height
½ Day Training Course
This Working at Height (Ladder/Step Ladders) course is designed for any person involved with working at height and specifically from ladders and steps.
Upon completion, delegates will be trained in basic safe working practices at height and the proper use of ladders and step ladders. The course also includes training on the inspection, fitting, and use of fall restraint harnesses and work positioning equipment.

Identifying hazards when Working at Height
Selection of appropriate equipment
Inspection of equipment
Safe erection of ladders and steps, and storage
Selection, inspection and use of fall restraint harnesses & work positioning

Practical assessment is on-going by the instructor, culminating with a written test. This qualification does not expire, but refresher training and keeping up to date with changes to policies and procedures is vital to keep the qualification current.

A maximum of 12 students are allowed on the course and must be a minimum of 14 years of age. A certificate can be offered to all, subject to assessment.
